Clifton now has a butcher.
Eon Nurse was In Clifton last week.
Mrs. Hoffman is in the Creek nation
teaching school.
Most every one is wrestling with the
gripp on the Quapaw.
A good time was bad at, Mr. Egles-
Uiri's Christmas night.
Mr. Oavis, Sunday school organizer,
is in Clifton reviving our JVindav
school.

stock of goods and will build more
room to accommodate his customers.
Tho people of Clifton have organ!/, d
a literary. Every one come out, and
make this one of the best in the county.
The dance given at Mr. Stones on
Christmas night was a success in every
way. The supper was splendid and
no ono went away hungry.

Christmas tree was not very largely
attended, but the children got their
candy and every thing wont smoothly.
Quite a racket occurod at Soonerville
Christmas night in which there vn^
some profane language used and
knives were drawn. We think the
grand jury could find some work there.
