Dr. Ales Hrdlica, of Smithsonian
Institution, thinks baldness is increas-
ing, hair becoming unnecessary, and
that in 2,500 years mens' skulls will
be as hairless as billiard balls. Plenty
of bald-heads are mentioned in the
Old lestament. The truth is, the
amount of hair in all generations de-
pends 011 the condition of the thyroid
gland.

death of A. Lvle of Moore, who was i
hit by a train in Oklahoma City. He
was rushed to the University hospital
and lived only about two hours.

Rev. Howe filled his regular ap-
