Three million women vote now
in ten states, and in Alaska a
debate is how ou in tbe National
Congress' upon the subject of
giving the Philipino women tbe
right of suffrage.
Secretary of State Bryan of
President Wilson's cabinet is a
strong advocate of woman suf
frage, and says be will go home
to Nebraska in time to make a
few speeches in favor cf it, and
cost his vote for the amendment.
Champ Clark, president of the
national house of representa
tives, signifies bis intention of
going home to Missouri to regis
ter his vote for the state suffrage
amendment.
Both Secretary of State W- J
Bryan and Mrs Bryan are Ne
braskans of loyal calibre. There
fore, Mrs. Bryan has sent to
Nebraska a statement denying
any anti suffrage opinions. It
will be interesting to her many
cause of wuman suffrage "
Four years ago, when Goyer
uor Cruce was a candidate for
the ‘office be now holds, tbe
question of Lis stand on the wo
man suffrage question frequently
was propounded to him. His
answer almost invariably was
that while he could think of no
logical argument against women
voting, be was against it purely
for sentimental reasons—he be
lieved that women should stay
at home aud run the home'and
uot mix with political affairs
“I have done with that senti
mental reason,” be says, “and it
was only sentiment, for I have
never found a real good reason
for not giving the women rights
that men have in tbe matter o:
electing men or women tooffice
They pay taxes, they read and
study more than we do the great
questions of tbe day, they fight
liquor and other vices, they sit
as officers in our temperance aud
civic clubs, and there is no good
reason under the sun why they
shouldn’t have the political rights
of men,’

Extravagant Claims Will Not Cure Ca-
tarrh— the Remedy Must Have Merit
My remedy has merit—it is guar-
anteed—it has cured hundreds—it
will cure you. Give it a ten days’
trial; if not satisfied, return unused
portion, and money will be gladly
refunded.
My remedy is not a chance dis-
covery, nor a cure over night, nor a
complicated course of treatment,
but the formula successfully used
in my regular practice as a Nose
and Throat Specialist.
Terms: $2.00 for Insufflator, and
sufficient remedy to last three
months, which'will practically cure
any case, and put the mucus mem-
brane in normal condition. How
ever, owing to changing climatic
conditions, breathing dust, etc.,
the nose should be properly cleans-
ed occasionally: hence I advise pa
tients to keep the remedy on hand,
and for $1 00 will send sufficient to
ordinarily last a year.
Remember it costs but little to
test this remedy, nothing if you are
not satisfied. Therefore you have
nothing to lose, and much to gain.
Ltoo'l de.ay. tbe longer you wait,
the longer it takes to effect a cure
