On Saturday afternoon, from two
o'clock until Sve, Miss Garnet Whit-
tinghlll entertained the Silent Few,
a young ladles' club at her home.
There was music both vocal and In-
strumental and recitations and
readings were interspersed. A lunch-
eon was served also.
From eight to eleven o'clock Miss
Whittlnghill entertained the "Young
folks' Club "
The amusements were of like na
ture as in the afternoon, but with an
entire change of program Refresh
ments were served during the eve-
ring, and a most enjoyable time was
had.

the Frisco System, in connection with
tbe Southern Railway, will operate
through Pullman Sleepers between
Kansas City, Mo., and Jacksonville,
Fla. These Sleeping Cars will be
placed in service as part of the equip-
ment, of tbe popular "Southeastern
Limited," scheduled to leave Kansas
City 6:30 p.m. A modernly equipped
train, electric lighted, cafe observa-
tion car, etc.—the route of which
carries the traveler through the pop-
ulous cities of the Southeast.

Dislocated Her Shoulder
