There is nothing the matter with
little Teddy's eye*.
He bit into an Indian turnip for the
Uret time and the taste of it made his
eyes water. Teddy's portrait appeard
in the St. Louis Republic of Nov. 1H
and the Wave man recognize him as
the boy he met in the White House
grounds last summer.
The governor of the state of
Washington has refused to honor a
requisition from Gov. Ferguson for
J. H. Carter who is charged with be-
ing accessory to the murder of James
Powell. As Gov. Ferguson was not
elected governor by the people of
Oklahoma perhaps the governor of
Washington think the requisition is
not good.
