A Wave reporter called at the
law
office of Percy Glaze, this morning,
relative to his candidacy to the Na-
tional Democratic Convention.
In answer to a question regarding
a 8torv which has been circulated by
I Mr. Glaze's political enemies he said:
"I regard the story about my not be-
ling for Coi. Bryan, as abs.ird and
preposterous, why the very idea of
ue being opposed to Bryan, surely no
lone for a moment believes but what
I am as warm and hearty a supporter
of his as there is in Oklahoma, or

"You ask as to how I stand on Ter-
ritorial matters? As to this there
are only two things that I think of
now that enter in to the present
matter, that is Free Homes and
Statehood. We are entitled to Free
Homes and we wi'l certainly get
them, all the great parties are in
favor of the Free Homes bill, and it
is really not an issue between them
we all want them and we are going
to get them. As to Statehood. I feel
the same way, as we are intelligent
enough and sufficiently competent to
i govern ourselves and I feel that the
-i)ul quicker we become a state the better

"My friends tell me of a great

it seems to me that some people are
always willing to put out a story that
is untrue from beginning to end in
order to gain their point.
