was the third tlnal day of the celebra-
tion of Mhakespsare's birthday. The
Inhabitants turned out In holiday at-
tire, the streets, which were brilliantly
decorated with American and ltrltlsh
flags, were crowded .with visitors, and

the Shakespeare theatre and museum.
