Girls' Pie Social.
Three clases of little girls of the M
F.. Church Sunday school, viz: Mr*.
McKnight's, Mies Smythe's and Mr*. D.
R. Jones', had a jolly time at the Thomp-
son buildidg last evening. They enter-
tained like little queens, and had eome
of the best pies and coffee we over tafct
ed. This was the finest "pie counter" we
have ever been permitted to attend.
What a field this v as for politicians, but
we didn't see any there.
Those w ho did not attend tnissed a
real treat, and the bright smiles of the
girls. The hall was well filled, and for
three hours u happy crowd enjoyed pie
and social delights. The little girls are
splendid entertainers, and deserve much
praise for their efiorts.
