"cloth" corttest followed, of which
R. 0. and Ray Teague were the win-
ners of ons and Pearl Hackler and
Tom Burkett the winners of the
other. The pencil fate was enjoyed
by all.
After the games were played, the
subject that old maids are of more
benefit to the community than old
bachelors was debated. The girls
took the affirmative and the boys the
negative. Many interesting 'points
were given by both sides. Horace
gave the bachelors good advice when
he told them "always be an old
bachelor and teach your children to
be one too."
Before leaving the crowd sang
many, pep songs which could be heard
bv several of the close neighbors.
