DON'T THIS SOUND SAFE?
Article One. Section Ten of the banking laws ot the state of
Oklahoma, reads as follows:
No bank shall employ its moneys directly or indirectly
in trade or commerce by buying or selling goods, chatties,
wares, merchandise or products of the country, unless such
securities or purchase be necessary to prevent loss upon a
debt previously contracted in good faith."
flie violation of this act by the officers or directors ot
any bank organized or existing under the laws of this state,
shall be sufficient cause to subject the bank to be closed and
liquidated by the Bank Commissioner."
It is needless to explain that no bank organized under the
guarantee laws ot the state of_Oklahoma, buys cotton or any oth-
er commodities.
All banks are allowed to advance Seventy-Five per cent of
the actual cash value of all farm products, to assist in the mar-
keting of such commodities.
This bank is always ready to assist the farmer in any way
that is within the bounds of the Oklahoma Banking Law and
sound and conservative banking,
^ ou will always find us ready and willing to help you out in
the marketing of your cotton.
But you car rest assured that the SECURITY STATE
BANK has never, and what is more, never will buy or speculate
ill cotton or any other farm products, as we are very careful to &
follow the spirit of the banking laws of' the state of Oklahoma.
