Graduating Exercises.
The closing exercises of the Pauls
Valley High School were held at the
time and place announced in last
weeks paper. The methodist church
was packed with a sympathic and ap-
preciative audience and tne entire pro-
gram was rendered in a matter that re-
flected credit on all parties cocerlned.
Prof. Osborn is admitted to be one of
the most competent and successful
teachers in the twin territories, and over
and above all he is a christian gentle-
man. He had a fine body of teachers
associated with him during the past
term. The graduating class consisted
of the following young ladies: Misses
Lillie Latimer, Mattie Kinder, Virginia
H'ghtower and Stella Terry. They ali
did well, in fact their work was so near
i equal that it was hard to decide who
excelled, however Miss Lillie Latimer
was awarded the class medal, and
! with becoming modesty and sweet-
ness she bore the honors of her class.
The other medals were won by Miss
Francics Dorchester and Master Alfred
Jones. Prof. DeBarr of the Universi-
ty of Oklahoma made a most excellent
address, and the music was exception-
ally fine, all togsther it was a most
! creditable and enjoyable occasion.
