An ordinance to amend section 15 of
ordinance No S as passed and approved.
June ltth. 1881 Ordinance to prohibit
carrying of any dangerous or deadly wca-
pou.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and coun-
ciliner, of the village of Lexington, Okla-
homa Territory.
Section 1. Any person or persons not an
officer and duly qualified as such, who
shall wen* or carry within the corporate
limits of said village any dirk, pistol,
bowie knite. dagger, sword in case, slung
shot, metal kuucKs, or any other danger-
ous or deadly defensive weapon concealed
or who shall wear such weapon, or who
shall be found in possession of any such
weapon on or about his person, saddle or
saddle bi'gs, shall upon conviction, be fi-
ned not less tliun $.">.00 nor more than
$10.00 dollars for each offense.

same is hereby declared to bean emergen
cy ordinance and shall take effe t and be
in force from and after its passage and
approval and publication in the Cleve-
land County Leader.

the age of eighteen years loafing and loi-
tering upon the streets of the city of Lex-
ington, O. T. after the hours of nine
q' lock p m.
Be it ordained by the chairman and board
of trustees of the village of Lexington, 0.

.Sec. I. That all boys under the age of
eighteen years found loafing or loitering
on the streets, sidewalks, alleys, commons
or any public place in said Village of Lex
iugtou 0. T. iu the night-time, between
the hours of nine o'clock p. m. and five
o'clock a. m. without sufficient excuse
nhall lie arrested by rlie eity inarahal and
upon conviction be fined iu any sum nut
less than Ave nor more than ten dollars
for each offense prvided that no excuse
diall be accepted where the party is en-
gaged in any mischief, or disorderly con-
duct bet ween the hours named.

the ordinances of tho vil.age of Lex-
ington O. P.
He it ordained by the chairman and
board of tru-tees of the village' of
Lexington, 'territory o Oklahoma
Section 1. I pon the conviction of
any person of any o ense committed
within the corporate limits of tho vil-
lage of l exington . L. for which
the ordinances of said village provide,
a punishment, the .1 tistice of the Peace
of said vill go shall render judgment
again^ such offender, and i the line
and costs be not immediately paid,
such convicted person shall be re-
manded to the custody of tho village
marshal and committed to the village
jail one day for each cents of said
line and costs, or such convicted per-
son may at tho discretion of said
uslice be compelled to work out said
fine and costs on the streets of said
v lla^e at tlie rate of 2 per day.
