Judge and backs up his request hv
record in that capacity that will be hard
for opponents t > get over. Everyone
knows the Judge like a book and com-

Z. T. Gregg, ourestetuned blacksmith
has his announcement in pretty well
along toward the front, and there's
where you'll find Z. T., when the votes
a:e counted. Mr. Gregg has had ex-
perience as marshal in Texas and in
this position will be right at home. II
is a good man and would fill the place
creditably.
Then in tomes Jim Loofbourrow and
told us to give him two dollars worth
along with the rest of the boys, Jim is
also out for marshal and will make the
race interesting for some one. He has
lived here ever since the country open-
ed aud everyone knows him. He would
make a good officer.
John Ewing, the good big hearted
John, is also in the race for the mar-
silalship. He is well known and liked
by everyone and will make a good race.
No one need be alarmed if lolin gets
the position. I ' will be in safe hands.
Then there is George Werner. He,
too, is out for marshal and says where
there are so many in it no one can get
stuck. He has lots of friends, good
jualiflcations and would make a satis-
factory officer. George will make hero-
efforts to be elected.
Neal Smith, a good friend t > Lexing-
ton, is out for Police Judge and Village
Clerk. His qualifications for each of
these oftievs are unquestionable. He
served tho city for three years in the
capacity of treasurer and gave splendid
satisfaction. He is a live, energetic
citizen and would make a good officer.
