Roosevelt find the World
The New York World never did
like Theodore Roosevelt. The for
mer Rough Rider has been work-
ing his typewriter overtime since
the beginning of the European
war. In a sensational contribii
ti u which appeared in the New
York Evening Sun, he said:
"The enw i g outrage has been
committed by the Turks on theAr
menians. It is dreadful to think
that these things can be done and
that this nation nevertheless re-
mains neutral, not only in deed
but also in thought, between right
and the most hideous wrong."
Then the editor of the World
got busy, lie explored the musty
files of his newspaper. He made
copious notes and this is the story
of Theodore as he gave it to the
readers of the newspaper organ of
the Wilson administration :
"In 1902 ■ B 'its lost their in

go were officially published.
"In 1905 (Jorea lost its inde-
pendence.

out by the powers.
"In 1906 the Russian govern-
ment shot, hanged and massacred
thousands of her people.

slaughtered at Adana.

dore Roosevelt was President and

This should I !. ft r a while at

Bay. He wa- all powerful for
seven years, he was the president
of the I nited 'air-- and command-
er and chief of the army and navy,
but he neglected to send our sold-
iers and sailors to the lands across
tie ocean to punish monarchs and
their satelites who murdered with
impunity and slaughtered the de-
fenseless without remorse of con-
science.

Nature Warns Against Using Calo-
mel.
The sickening, nauseating feel-
ing that follows the use of calomel
is the natural result, of disarrang-
ing your entire system. Doctors
even where are agreeing that the
a-tion of calomel is much too
strong, and leaves the body sick
and weakened.
LIV-VER-LAX is a wonder-
ful substitute for calomel, that has
all of its good effects and none of
its bad ones. It acts soothingly
but thoroughly on the liver, cleans-
ing it of bile, and ridding the en-
tire system of stagnating poisons.
LI\ -VER-LAX is strictly a
harmless vegetable compound, and
is guaranteed to give satisfaction
or your money will be returned, j

Colds Need Attention
Internal throat and chest troubles pro-
duce inflamation, irritation, swelling or
soreness and unless checked at once, are
likely to lead to serious trouble. Caught
in time Dr. Bell's Pine-Tar-Honey loos-
ens the phlegm and destroys the germs
which have settled in the throat or nose.
It is soothing and healing. Pine is anti-
septic; honey is soothing—both together
possess excellent medicinal qualities f<,r

French Remedy Aids
Stomach Sufferers
PROFESSIONAL CARDS
France has been called the nation
without stomach troubles. The French
have for generations used a simple mix-
ture of vegetable oils that relieve stom-
ach and intestinal ailments and keep the
bowels free from foul, poisonous mat-
ter. The stomach is left to perform its
functions normally. Indigestion and
gastritis vanish.
Mr. Geo. H. Mayr, a leading druggist
of Chicago, cured himself with this
remedy in a short time. The demand
is so great that he imports these oils
from France and compounds them under
the name of Mayr's Wonderful Rem-
edy. People everywhere write and tes-
tify to the marvelous relief they have
received using this remedy—one dose
will rid the body of poisonous accretions
that have accumulated for years and
convince the most chronic sufferer from
stomach, liver or intestinal troubles.
Mayr's Wonderful Remedy is sold by
leading druggists everywhere with the
positive understanding that your money
will be refunded without question or
quibble if ONE bottle fails to give you
absolute satisfaction.
For sale by the Pioneer Drug Store and
all other reliable druggists.

Professor Gimeno of the university
