JUST WHITING FOR ANOTHER
GOOD CROP ¥EAR.
Three years n«r<> a crop failure—
the greatest ever experienced in
Oklahoma—Rave investors ami real
estate holders in Norman and
throughout the state a big scare,
and since that time, a feverish de-
sire to unload, rather than to invest
and improve farm or city property
was much in evidence for a year or
until last year's crop the tendency
of real estate values to slump was
checked; and no rush to unload
real estate at sacrifice prices was
manifested, property owners and
investors alike preferring to wait
and trust a return of normal crop
conditions in Oklahoma and with
the seasonable spring of 1! K1 and
crops throughout the state in the
pink of condition 011 July 1st and
a ground soaking rain falling all
over the state it looks very much
at this time as though the 1!>13
crop was assured and that same
would lie a record breaker in Okla-
homa for corn, katlir, cotton and
alfalfa the time for waiting to
purchase a farm, or to invest in
vacant or improved property in
Norman, was past and that if you
ever had any serious intentions of
investing in such property you
should hustle to do so, for values
are sure to begin climbing upward.
There are it number of people in
Norman who invested heavily in
Norman property some three years
ago, going in debt heavily and the
the crop failure throughout the
state rendering it impossible for
them to sell, they have necessarily
suffered some embarrassment and
are anxious to sell, not all, but
some of the property they hold in
