A class of 37 was confirmed at the
Catholic church here Sunday by the
(tight Reverend Then. Meer.-ehaert,
bishop of OklabQtna of Oklahoma
City. Father Meerschaert was assist-
ed in '.he service bv Father Anthony
Abbott of Sacred Heart Mission, and
by tbe Right Reverend John Metter
of the Norman diocese.
This is tbe first confirmation held
in Norman for two years and was of
much interest and importance to the
Catholics of this community. About
300 persons, nearly all of the mem-
bers of the Norman parish were pres-
ent. The service begun about 7:30
o'clock Sunday morning and lasted
until after 12 o'clock.
Confirmation, to members of the
Catholic church, is the most im-
portant event in their religious
lives, as it is the full admission
into church membership T h e
class was made up of young persons
for the most part, but there were
also a number of adults. The church
requires '.hat its members must be
more than 14 years old before they
can be confirtacu.
Communion was emboJied in the
service here Sunday and all of the
attendants at the confirmation ser-
vice partook of this rite.

Why Pay Rent?
Better own your own home in
Norman. Norman property, in
most parts of the city, is still
low in price and will advance.
If you are paying rent you
will not reap the benefit of the
advance, in value, of property.
If you own the property you
will save the rent and secure
the advance, in value.
I have some choice building
sites in Norman that we can
oiler you 011 attractive condi
tions for the erection of homes.
If interested would like to have
you talk it over with me.
If you are seeking to invest in

this city, I have a number of
attractive propositions that you
can purchase for cash or on
payments.
