Don’t Be Mislead About Gasoline
Gravity does not indicate th« quality of gasoline. Specific gravity is important, of
course, but what really counts, what really determines the miles per gallon, is Volatility
and End Point.

VOLATILITY
means the point at which a liquid vapor-
izes. You can readily see that the gasoline
which vaporizes at the lowest temperature
will be the quickest to explode. Therefore
a low' vaporizing point means quickness
and ease in starting your car-
END POINT
m
is the temperature at which a quntity of
liquid stops vaporizing. Therefore the
lower the End Point, the longer and more
uniform the explosion, the smoother your
car will run and the more miles per gallon
of gasoline you will get.
