on the subject of the "Woman's Auxil-
iary to tho A. O. L A." A vole of

efforts in behalf of this subject.

tranced and carried away by the marvel-
ous renditions in whistling and warbling
jccompannients by Miss Maud Burch,
of Guthrie,
Many were added to the ranks of No-
ble brigade. A. 0. L. A., who will have
cause to remember this as a most event
ful day in their life's history.
While the outward appearances in-
dicate and give to the A. O. L. A. an
exclusive milhtary character, this is not
true an to the facts. The meetings they
have held in our city and elsewhere, are
open to the public, and are highly en-
tertaining. The meetings held in the
K. P. hall, day and evening were occa-
sions of social and intellectual enjoy-
ment, and our citizens, by not being
present, have missed some rare intel-
lectual and musical treats, such as tho
whistling and singing by Miss Burch, of
Guthrie, and others; and imitations by
distinguished orators of more than or-
dinary laerit.
