2,000 bales in this market The warn
house proposition has been success
fully fstabllshed In most of the cot-

sures the farmer a good price for
his cotton and gives him a place to
save It free from the destroying in
fluences unti« such time as he can
get a good price. Tbe ultimate on
Ject Is to create a standard price for

.fudge Pancoast in completely over-
turned by the supreme court next
month, the lines are forming for a
battle royal in the next sewiion of
the convention.
It wan learned at Oklahoma City
that an insurgent organization in the
convention is being formed for the
purpose of eliminating the Oklahoma
county division, which would neces-
Hitatc a new legislative apportion-
ment. The plan also contemplate*
Hilence on the liquor question for Ok-
lahoma, raising the limit on the
school tax and other changes.
Tlie new county organization

however, and should the convention
reassemble, the elimination of the
new Oklahoma counties is to be
fiMinlil iii lin 'iiurU. uiid on the con-
vention flour. President Murray ih
expected to stand with them.
The complete failure of the demo-
cratic mission to Washington passe*
the matter squarely up to the con-
vention. which is thrown upon its
own resources solely. President
Murray has had few responses to hi*
appeal for financial aid, but hia
friends here claim he will issue a
proclamation before June G.
Haskell', support' r, her concede
that he would be defeated at the pri-
maries June 8, thus adding a new
phase to the complicated situation.
When the convention adjourned it
was to August &, subject to the call
of President Murray earlier. Thus
should Cruce or Doyle be nominated
it is in the power of Murray to re-
fuse to reassemble the convention to
change the situation, and thereby
beat the nominee by defeating state-
hood. The convention is not certain
to meet in advance of the primaries.
Victor Johnson of Pawnee has left
papers for Governor Prantz urging
him to refuse to issue an election
proclamation, even though the con-
stitution and the election ordinance
should be filed unless the conven-
tion adjourns. He cites a Kentucky
case where the convention changed
the constitution after the people rati-
fied it and the supreme court, which
was leected under the constitution,
upheld the changed constitution.
