Probably no postmaster in the
state has received more general ap-

Mr. Felt, and certainly no patrons
of any office have received better
or more efficient serv ice than those
of Hennessey. Ml have bad their

Kvery day that you put off building
sheds for that idle machinery and
leave it standing in the field to rust
and rot in the rain and and sun,
you re losing money.
Good, hard plunks, that'; what
you are losing.
And when it costs so little for
lumher to build good sheds, and
when you cau build them yourself,
you simply cannot afford to leave a
single machine r tool unprotected

Mr. Felt, some mouth previous,'
had purchased the of J L. 11 ilies
reality business with the expectation j
ol being relieved of the postmaster-,
ship. W ith several contending for j
the position the appointment of his j
successor had been apparently de j
ft*ired from month to month
Despite the fact that his retire
nicut was only a question of the
selection u! a successor, and while
the delay interfered with his plans
for the future Mr Felt showed no
inclination toward a laxity in a -
teiiding in Iiic aiduiuis duties of ti e

J. M. JONFS
John M Jones, Hennessey's new
! postmaster, is perhaps, one of the
11 test known residents of Hennessey
| He came to Oklahoma from Kansas
in the early day s when the country
was new. locating in Hennessey
when it was little more than a tent
town He has been identified with
lis early histary and its later pro
j it—. He is at present president of
the lones Dry tioods I o . a corpora

the place.
Mr Frank Vaughn, who has as-
