Robert Lee Payne Pounded
On Monday evening about
eight o'clock there appeared at
the door of Mr. Payne's home a
party of more than a hundred of
the good people of of the church
and 1 riemls o' Bro. Payne 1 den
with all >he good things that one
could think o\ After all the
tables were heaped full of the
many things brought, the party,
which was composed of both
old and young,spent the evening
in making merry and having a
good time.
The members and friends of
th Baptist church !ove and ap-
preciate Bro Payne and his
good wife and the wonderful
work they are doing in our ci'y
for the Lord.
We feel that the good work at
our church has just begun and
we are now thinking and plan
ning of enlarging our new
church that we might accomo-
date the large crowds that con-
tinue to come to hear Bro. Payne.
Although our church has th*
largest seating capacity of anv
church building in Hennessey we
find it too small.
