This company has secured one of the choice oil properties in the Cushing Field, one of, if
not the best producing oil field, in the United States today. This lease, located in section
17, township 17. range 6, is an undivided eighty acres and joins the T. B. Slick property.
It lies directly west of the Jones lease, 7-17-7, one of the greatest producers in the Cushing
field. Eight producing wells parallel the edge of the Border Queen Oil and Gas Company
lease at a distance of but 450 feet. These wells, when brought in, were rated at from
100 to 500 barrels. Oil and gas pipe lines within 1200 feet of this lease.
