Christmas Exorcises
The Christmas entertainment
will be lield at the Congrega
tional church Thursday evening
There will be a Christmas tree,
and a good treat for every buy
and girl. Not only the members
of our Sunday school are to be
treated, but any of the boys and
girls in town who do not attend
any Sunday school are invited
and we will try to have a treat
tor everyone who comes. • owe
and enjoy tin- yrlaiul Christmas
time with us.
The children of the Christian
Sunday school will receive as
usual, a treat of candies, nuts,
etc , and a short pri gram of
recitations, tableaux and Bongs
will bo rendered. A real cedar
cedar Christmas tree will be
provided and any who de-ire
may put presents thereon for
friends and loved ones \ou
will be welcome.
The Baptist Sun Jay school
will have a Christmas tree and a
treat for the little folks on
Christmas eve. There will be
something of a program and an
interesting time generally.
Revival Meetings Still in Progress
The revival meetings in pro
gress at the First M. K church
are still attended with interest
and many conversions have re
suited. Rev. II. I>ee, the e
vangelist and wife return to
their home at Colorado Spring-
next week. Mr. Lee will preach
his last sermon here Sunday e\
ening but the meetings may con
tinue longer.
For nearly throe weeks the
meetings have been held daily
and during this period there has
been no subsidence of the in-
terest which characterized tin-
meetings at the outset. I he
number of conversions lias not
been announced but it is esti
mated there are between thirty
and forty.
