Company has found it necessary
to build a few more houses, In
order to provide for new men

have several houses under con

However, the Company has been
compelled to do more building,as
houses were not being put up fast
enough to meet the demand.

cently established by the govern-
ment at McAlester, is now being
openod for the promotion of its
laudable work. The building
cost about *0,500 and the funds
for that purpose were raised by
the miners, operators, and towns
in the mining district. The equip-
iiitint for it cost the federal gover-
munt about *4,200.
