Track and Literay Meet of South-
eastern Oklahoma, was held at Du-
rant About twelve or fifteen stu-
dents went from Idabel. All of our
contestants made places in the fin-
als. Mr. Thelmer Smith won second
place in declamation and Miss Kate
Isbell won second place in reading.
In the track work Mr. Brice Stokes
won first in high jump and second
in pole vault.

estate of the above named ward and
filed herein his petition to sell the
real estate of said minor described in
said petition for the reasons in said
petition stated. And it appearing to
the Court from said petition that is
ia necessary that said real estate or
some portion thereof be sold for thei
reasons in said petition stated.
IT IS ORDERED, That said peti-
tion be and the same is hereby set
down for hearing on the 17th day of
May, 1917, at the hour of nine o’clock
a. m., of raid day, at the County
Court room of McCurtain County, Ok-
lahoma, at which time and place the
next of kin of said minor or any per-
son interested in said minor’s estate,
may appear and show cause, if any
they have, why an order should not
be granted for the sale of so much of
the real estate of said minor as is
necessary for the reasons in said peti-
tion stated. _
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, That
a copy of thia order be posted up in
three public places in the county, one
of which shall be at the Court House
where said hearing ia to be held, and
a copy personally served upon the
next of kin of said ward and all other
persona interested in the estate of
said ward residing in the County,
and a copy mailed to all parsons in-
terested in said ward’s estate who
are not residents of the county
with postage prepaid, at least four-
teen days before the hearing of said
petition. _

four successive weeks in the McCur-
tain Gazette, published in McCurtain
County, Oklahoma.
