GAMES TODAY.
Fort Worth at Houston.
Waco at Dallas.
Shreveport at San Antonio
After 12 Innings of catch-as-eatch-
<an ball playing, Waco and the In-
dians left the mat yesterday without
a fall. It was a game marked by bat-
ting spurts by both sides that came
like April showers. Dr. Andrews
wanted the game and used 14 players
11 a valiant eitort to take it, but his
pitchers failed to deliver. The final
score was 10 to 10.
lake Thellman, who bails from the
frozen north and Is used to playing
in the mellow light of the aurora bo-
realis, is getting the fans to believo
ho isn't a hot weather pitcher. He
started the matinee yesterday and
listed three and one-third innings, in
which time the Waco Orphans rang
up six hits and four runs. Drohan
lasted two-thirds of in inning, Brady

ly"' looked good as 50 feet ou Broad-
way, however, as he whiffed six in his
brief appearance.
('onway was wearing his swatting
l.abllametits and got a two-bagger and
m home run. Nagle twice scampered
to third from the batter's box on
long hits, and Dr. Andrews, "Grand

Pat Casey did the Dick Merriwell
act. again In Saturday's game. With
the score a tie, two men out, two on
bases and two strlTces called, he
lammed one of Loudell's 57 varieties
over the right field fence for two
packs. It was the second time in two
days for Pat to do the turn, and he is
as popular with the fans as a red

The three games with Waco were I
about the best contested contests ever
pulled off lu consecutive order at the j
local grounds.
If we bad won yesterday we would
have gone to the top of the second di-
vision. Furthermore, if we had won
oftener this year—'but this is no Joke.
Dale pitched a no-hit game for Dal-
las yesterday with the result that
Ft. Worth rocketed to the top of the
heap. Great race, this.
Looks as though the Cubs are work-
ing In a class by themselves In the
National. They grabbed two from
Boston yesterday without any special
effort.
President Allen found Ft Worth
should be credited with a game that
It hasn't been given heretofore, and
that Dallas has been given a lost
game that It didn't lose. The er-
rors have been corrected in the
