W. M. Sawyer and Miss Jesse
Evans were indicted yesterday by the
territorial grand jury, each upon the
charge of adultery and were arrested
Phis morning. When taken before
Judge Burwell, each plead not guilty
and their bonds fixed at $500. Secu-
rity was promptly given both parties
and their release followed. The date
set for their trial has not been yet as-
signed.
