Description: Photograph of steers on irrigated pasture of smooth brome, perennial rye grass, fescue, and alfalfa. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Steers on irrigated pastuer [sic] of smooth brome, orchardgrass, perennial ryegrass, fescue and alfalfa. Pasture has been heavily manured and sprinkle irrigated, 160 steers on 50 acres have gained about 400 lbs. each in 7 months. Nov. 15 – June 6. Soils are sandy loam – units. 7 and 20."
