ing their livestock entries for the
Canadian county 4-H club and
P. F. A. fair in El Reno Friday
and Saturday, James R. Childers,
county agent, revealed today.
Jersey calves, blanketed and teth-
ered In the shade, are receiving
manicures; sheep were getting mar-
cels and poultry exhibits are being
transformed into peroxide blondes.

Reduced Expenditures
Are Voted To Conform
With Income
Final reductions in the 1937-38
budget lor the city of El Reno
as recommended by the council’s
special committee were approved
at a meeting of the board of com-
missioners Monday night when it
was agreed to reduce expenditures
by *5.748.55.
The reduced budget was given
approval by the Canadian county
excise board early today. Mayor
Herman Dittmer announced.
Reductions from the budget as
originally submitted provide for
nostrils with masks, are removing injured to hospitals. Nearly 200 persons were killed and almost
500 were Injured.
