The Andrews Opera company open-
ed a two-nights' engagement at tho
Brooks' last evening with tho tunoful
bill "Martha." There have boca bet-
ter renditions of this opera by Ed An-
drews and his constantly changing
company. Andrews does not overflow
at the box office when It comes to an-
gnginc -'nt and at times ho find
himself crampod for come-ons. How-
ever Andrews by straddles and toss-
Ins manages to use the street verna-
cular to make good. Taken as n
