The Logan county convention to
elect delegate to the terrttoriH state-
hood convention was held this after-
noon In tbe probate court room It
was well attended and much interest
shown - in the matter which Is the
cause of the movement. It was a
mat convention and twenty five dele-
fates were chosen which Is the quota
allowed In the call of the territorial
committee.
Judge Herod was selected chairman
and Fred Madden of Guthrie town-
ship secretary. After hearing a few
red hot statehood remarks from C. H.

statehood.
The territory's financial condition la
shown to be excellent. The public
debt since Uie lasl meeting of the
