Tho Kickapoo country is thickly

the extreme.
Tho house of John Kyle a farmer
was completely demolished and under
tho ruins his body and that of his two

Honry James another farmer in tho
Kickapoo country was found just in
the edge of tho storm path fatally in-

the storm wrecked country southwest
to learn tho oxtunt of tho damage and
render such aid as. is possible until
further relief arrives.
This committee is expected to return
In tho morning with a report of the
fatalities and of the aid required.
It is not known how much damage
has beeu done northeast of Chandler.
Farmers arriving report enormous de-

buildings but so far no destruction to
humau life is learned.
Parkland a small village directly in
the course of tho storm containing
about 100 inhabitants is certain to
have sufTered but how much only
later developments will make known.
It is not believed there was anyone
killed or word would have beeu sent
here.
It will be some days and probably

storm's havoc can be learned.

tie and lost ell Fully 90 per cent of
the peoplo of Chandler are not only
homeless but penniless as well and
must start out iujtho world again. Not
only this but many are crippled and
all aro broken hearted.
To the generous people of the neigh-
boring cities the oltliens of Chandler
will ever be grateful. Hut two forms
of relief are needed: Provisions and
money to assist the needy to erect a
shelter to live In. The present wants
are food provisions of all kinds.
Enough has been saved to cook tho
food for the present but the homeless
must have places to live In and the
money raised or the bulk of it would
do the most good if spent in this man-
ner. Of the relief so far heard from Hhaw-
nee has raised $300; Oklahoma 0ty
9800; btlllwater 8300; Guthrie 81500
Committees should be sent hero for
the purpose of organizing and expend-
ing this money in the manner benefit-
ting the most people and this no
doubt will bo done.'
The people will render every aid pos-
sible and If no committee is sent care
will bo taken that all tho money con-
tributed will bo placed whoro It will
do the most good.
