He poured hot shot and shell into
the damp of tho county Republicans
exposing the rottenness and chicanery
of the old gang and mailing a telling
plen for the election of tho free Siler
llohet naming oach candidate and
making special plotts for all.
Hon. T J. Lowo locretary of the
territory wat. next Introduced and
spoke brlelly In behalf of Callahnn and
froo fillvtr urging upon all the Impor-
tance of supporting the entlro ticket
and standing together for victory.
The campaign wet one of principles
and not of men. Mr. Flynn was with
the Mark Hanna crowd with the syn-
dicates and against the peoplo and as
such should be retired. Mr. Cullnhan
is one of the people and for the peoplo
and when elected he would be as good
a filond to Guthrie and Logan county
as Mr. Flynn over war.
Air. Ciillnliiin NpiMkp
Mr. Callahan was inlroducod as tho
presented argument after arguraont In
faror of the free coinage of silver con-
vincing his multitude of hearers that
therein lsy the solution or the many
problems of t tdajr befote the poop)-
of '.he nation.
The faro.er and the worklngmeu of
the country are the foundation upon
which the prosperity of the nation
rests and under the policy adopted and
carried out by the Republican party
they wore oppressed by low tirlcos and
low wages until their coudtil m was
now unbearable Relief can only be
found in a return to bl-ruotullism and
a diving away with the single gold
standard which has brought ruin and
stagnation upon the nation. The re-
tnrn of bl-mctalheni and plenty of
money will bring general prosperity to
the farmer and on his prosperity de-
pends the prosper t of the people In
general.
After the clote of hit nddroM Mr. '
Callahan waB cheered to tho echo and
then presented with a magnificent
vase of chrysanthemums from tho
Dilly Leader in conjunction with the
Representative. Tho Logan County
Glee club sang several selections after
which Dr. W A. Turner. Free Silver
aandtdate for representative in tho
Seventh dittt let was next introduced
and made a rattling speech declaring
hit position on questions of vital in
terest to the peoplo of Oklahoma. If
elected he said ho would ever be tho
servant of tho peoplo and not the
wastor stand for economical govern-
ment reduction of salaues of ofllclals
fair taxation and reform all along the
line In municipal and county affairs.
The meotlng then closed with three
cheers for Callahan frco hornes free

He first returned thanks to the Re-

tho good reception given !)im.

on making the campaign on the ques-

which all parties had declared favora-

He then took up the record of Mr.

the attempt of Flynn to obtain credit

that Mr. Flynn had refuted to pool
