at the depot by a band reception com-
ilititee and a bljf crowd of citizens. Mr.

found impression on his hearers. Mr.
llryau touched upon every phase tf
the money question and in a masterly
milliner told of tho benefits to be do-
rived by the restoration of tho whit?
metal to Its proper place as redemp-
tion money along with gold He ar-
raigned Secretary Carlisle in a sharp
manner and read excerpts from that
gentleman's free ;o!nage address in'Tft
und ills gold bug harangue at Mem-
phis and showed wherein the head
and heart of Carlisle were at variance.
All his arguments were backed up by
statistics and his logic was forceful
and convincing. The strong glow of
