iu good health. About half past
four. Cyrus one of her little boys
hapjened to look in through the
screen door and saw his mother
lying ou the floor as he thought

brother Charles and they sommon-

TO ASK FOB AMENDMENT
Street Railway Co. Claim the Route as
Proposed by Tbem Only Prac-
'ticable One.
The proniotors of the street Tail-
way company will go Wfoe the
council again tomorrow afternoon
and ask for an amendment to the
ordiance granting them the right
to operate their road.
The railway company claim that
some of the council and the city at-
torney have construed the ordin-
ance in such a way that the rail-
way will W compelled to build to
the end of a street the street in
question Wing Chickasha avenue
before Wing allowed to turn.
Thi raihoad company claims
that they have spent some months
in figuring out a route for the
road and that they Wlieve they
have one that will give the best
service to all of Chickasha within
the limits of the road which is to
W a Jittle over eight miles ard
that the route as made by their ex
pcrts is the only practicable one.
The city attorney and council
claim that the company under the
franchise can only use alternate
streets and that ir they build up
Chickasha avenue for any distance
and turn that they will not have
the right to conic back onto Chick-
asha avenue again unless the coun-
cil grants them preinission.
Both sides are anxious to have
the matter settled satisfactorily be-
fore the paving is begun plans for
which are expected this afternoon
