There is an immense acreage 01
cotton being planted and we are
vvondeiing what effort is being
made to secure nekers. This is
not too early to formulate some
plans and we suggest that some
real estate man in Chickasha add
ant employnicj.it bureau to his busi-
ness and help the farmers to secure
plenty of help. There m been a
shortage in farm hands for several
years and if some plan could be
devised whereby able bodied men
could be induced to seek work in
ihe health giving open air of the
country there would tie less stnte
and tuore happiness in the world.
Sid IlriUaiu and Mr- McGonigle
went to Chickasha last Tuesday to
buy cotton seed.

Betch Losing His Arm in the Fifth
Inning for the Locals Gave the
Game to the Visitors.
StCOlVD CAME OF SEKIES.
First Inning. Belch's work in
the box was a little wild at the ln:-
giilning. He gave Fetch a walk to
first but the next two men at the
slick were fall-outs. The fourth
man up gained nothing but a fly
which was gathered up by Wellcr
and he was thrown out at first.
I'rice showed up well in the 1ax.
The home boys could make no safe
hits. The light batting to the in-
field and the clever work of the
visitors prevented the lxjys from
reaching first.
Second Inning: Audiews threw
the first batter out from second to
first and I'arkney prevents the sec
ond man from scratching first by
his grand stand catch in right field.
This was his first opportunity and
he saved it with ease. The third
man up had a fan in hts hand and
was a victim of the pitcher in the
one two three order.
Wellcr received Hie wrong kind
of a hit got it in the side instead
of out in the field but he walked to
first with a smile and said "it nev-
er hurt." Porkney went to f:rt
off of his clean hit to right field and
Kerns followed up with a nice sin-
gle which scored Wellcr and Pork-
ney from second and third. The
side went out on account of light
batting to the in-ficld and were
thrown out at first.
Third Inning: Price made a safe
hit to first md walked to secund on
a missed ball by the catcher. Wol-
ford batted a light one to the in
field and gains first on Honker's
error. Price and Wolford were
both throw 11 out pu bases. Fetch
went to first on a safe hit and
scored on passed balls. The fourth
man up fanned.
Grant batted a grounder to the
pitcher and was thrownoutat first.
Houser batted a hot one to third
who fumbled it and by a close de
cision gained first. Porkney came
to the stick with triple strength
and lauded out a three-bagger.
Houser was thrown out at home
plate trying to score on the long
hit. The next two men up could
give Porkney no chance to score.
One fanned the other batting to
the infield and thrown out at first.
Fourth Inning: Clean hit by
Frantz. Tarr fielded the next fly
in left field which was a hard one
to handle. Tarr and Andrews'
clever work is responsible for
Enid not scoring in this inning.
Tarr received loud applase from
the grand stand on his two-base hit
in left field. Tarr scored oil of a
two-bagger by Kerns but the latter
died on second on accout of the
light batting which followed.
Fifth Inning: This was the
walk-a-way to first inning on balls;
bases filled up one after another on
account of Ketch's careless pitch
ing. By a wild throw from Butch
to Kerns Miller and Frantz scored.
Kern saved Trice's high foul the
other two went out on fielded balls.
Cooley gathered Bennett's foul
with ease. Houser lauded a hot
snigle to centre field but the snappy
work by the visitors prevented any
scores in this inning.
Suth Inning: Fetch got a safe
hit off of Barnes stole secoijd and
gained third off batting. Porkney
caught a difficult fly in right field.
Fetch scored on Miller's sacrifice.
Grant threw Frantz out from third
making three outs.
Tarr drives Cooley one which
was handled nicely on first and Mr.
Tarr vyent out. Through Fetch's
hot stop and quick throw Andrews
failed to see first. Third man up
fanned.
Seventh Inning: Motts batted a
1 nip-up fly in Andrew's field which
was cleverly saved. Price layed the
stick down at the plate. Houser

Delegates To Ba Elected
Democrats Meet at Masonic Hall
this evening Important"
Meeting
Every democrat in the city
should attend the meeting of the
democratic club this evening at
Masonic Hallov.r the Mississppi
Store. It will be the most impor-
tant meeting that has been held.
The club has about seven hundred
mcmliers and consequently will be
entitled to about fifteen delegates
tithe district convention wjiich
meets in his city May 16. The
delegates will be elected tonight.
The question of instructing the
delegates and of endorsing a can-
didate for national committeeman
will probably come up. It seems
o be Jlw genejul opinion of local
democrats that an uninstriicted
delegation lie sent to the territorial
convention lli.vvevcr there may
be some fun this evening on these
points.
All democrats arc invited to the
meeting.

wise men from investing their money in Chickasha Real Estate. I am often asked
the question whether or not the values of Chickasha real estate are not depreciating;
in answer to tnis question most emphatically "Xo" but on the other hand appre-

To those who are prospective investers in
'
I would advise early purchases as there is no question in my mind that never in the future
of Chickasha cay property be lwught at the present values and to the man who fears to risk his
money on present values of Chickasha Real Estate will prove his judgment of the value of real
estate worthless. It is a fact that you can go to many dead towns and invest your money in real
es'ate tvvo hundred ier cent under the value of Chickasha values but instead of buying an invest-
ment you are buying a white elephant.
Money invested in a thriving city the surroundings of which is a guarantee of tljp .future
growth and greatness such as are the conditions surrounding Chickasha you can make no mistake
by investing your last dollar.
Am having daily calls for rental property. Any such projierty placed in my charge rentals
will be collected in advance and money placsd as per your instructions.
