To Hie Kxhrkns;
I am with the editor in regard to
the cleaning up of the city. As I
go to and from my work each day
1 see dozens of articles of every
description that have been cast in-
to the streets and yards. Most all
of them are burnable. For Heaven
sake and for the city's sake burn

The people in thoseliomes are right

Now I don't mean you if your

take a peep and if the shoe fits you
must certainly wear it. I have
made it a rule ever since I have

to even allow a scrap of paper 1o

Important Meeting
Tuesday night at 8 o'clock is the time for the commercial
club meeting. Officers are to be elected and many important
matters are to be discussed. Plans for making the club a "live
one" will be talked over. A meeting of more vital interest to the
town could not held. There is an urgent need for an organization
which will work in season and out for the welfare of Chickasha.
Tue commercial club can be made a power in the advancement of
the city if our citizens will rally to it ami work together. If you
have any ideas that will help to make the club a more effective
bod or will assist in any way in upbiilding the town be at the
meeting If you have any interest at all in making Chickasha a
larger and better city be there. Our city will be left behind in
the race for supremacy in this new country if we don't besiir
ourselves. Other towns are hustling; we must hustle and the
commercial club must be a hustlers club. Lay aside all differences
and etty jealousies quit your kicking and "cussing" attend this
meeting and do your part like a man. Remember Tuesday night
X o'clock hharp at the commercial club roams.

esting eauies of ball that has been
played this season. The score stood
3 to 2 in favor of the Business
College boys. Anadarko has had
the reputation of playing the fast-
est amatur ball of the season
having lost but oue game until
Saturday. Our boys -vere too much
for them. They had Auadarko

locals Donnell's pitching deserves
special mention he having held
the Anadarko aggregation down to
four hits.

The game was the poorest ex-j

very slow and full of errors ftom '

Before the first inning was half j

were careless and made costly er- i
