Quaker Doctors W 111 Close Tbeir
KogaKeiuent in Tbia City
This Evening.
tonight is the last evening ol
the Quaker doctors' enaaireinent in 1
this city as announced by the doc
tor himself at the last two lectures
given. Their engagement opened
three weeks ago and since the be-
ginning of their lectures they bsve
been greeted nightly by large
crowds of people who have come
not only to witness the perform-
ances of the comedians but to
listen to the scientific dissertations
given by the doctors upon the
various diseases to which humsn
flesh is heir.
Daring the past three weeks the
doctors have treated hundreds of
oases of various diseases chronic
and otherwise and whether their
patients have been benefited or
not we have nothing to say as that
matter ia uo affair of ours. If the
people ate satisfied we certainly
have no kick earning. But we do
wish to say this for the doctors.
BtaM their arrival in the city they
have aeted in a most conrteous
geatlemanly manner have paid
their hills promptly and bsve con-
ducted themselves aa gentlemen
should. They have given the peo-
ple a varied form of entertainment
which has amused and pleased.
The Express baa nothing b ..t good
wishes for them and should they
ever visit oar city again hopes
Wey will find a courteous welcome.
