Missionary Meeting.
The ladies or the ' Fletcher
Methodist church ore holding a
missionary meeting at the home
of Mrs Ed Roll this ufternoon.
Two hundred invitations were
printed and sent out each one uc
comp.inied by a small apron
with a pocket in it with instruc-
tions for each recipient to meas-
ure her waist and put .is many
cents in the apron pocgelas she
measured in inches around her
waist.
Those invited were informed
in the invitations tli.it there
would be plenty to eat ind lots

21 months son of Mr. and Mrs.

mer's home south east of Elgin
Friday night and was buried in
the Elgin cemetery Sunday.

diphtheria which is the most
dangerous form of that dreaded
disease und is located in the lar-

Friday morning: he was playing
about the premises as usual and
at 10 o'clock that night a pltysi
cian was called and told that the
child had the croup. He lived
only a few hours afterward.
