We are still having dry windy
weather; the farmers an getting
pretty well up with their work.
Miss Christina Scheetz who is
teaching school near Apache
visited her father and brother
Sunday.
Miss Decker and twenty two
of her pupils went to Lawton
Friday to attend the school home
coming.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sperling
and Mr. and Mrs. John Mont-
gomery took dinner at the home
this month with Rer. Beam
pastor; there will be prrachiaff
every second Sunday.
Let everyone remember the vie
supper next Friday night: pro-
ceeds to pay for the gas lights
that have been installed in the
school house.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Smoot
went to Lawton Sunday to at-
tend the funeral of their sister-in-law
Mrs. Walter Smoot.
Mr. and Mrs. Claud Myers
were Lawton visitors Saturday.

been working in Shawnee for the
past two months is here for a
few days' visit with his parents.
The coldest spell of weather

Sunday night (the 14th). when

way last Monday night; the re-
mains were laid to rest in the

good crop and shows that there
is plenty of money in circulation

Wendell Wettengel has been
afflicted with one of Job's com-
forters on his neck this week and
hn has not been indulgiag in the
athletics very freely.
There are now 12 in the fresh-
man class which is the largest it
has ever been.
