Buffalo Okla.. Dec. 27. President

has under consideration tho propotl

right-of-way for elghty-fivo milea and
do tho grading of tho roadbed the

way and Oporatn it after completion
President Bush has promised an an
awer at an early date.
Another proposed railway In the
locality Is that of the Santa Fo south
from Englewood Kan to BeaverCity
Okla. There la an old survey of the
Santa Fo from tho Kansas town to tho
Ueavor river then up tho stream to
the mouth of tho Pajo Dura and then
across the plains to tho South Canadian
river The commercial clubs of both
Wichita and Hutchinson Kan. are

Numerous rumors are ntloat ns to
the probable extension of tho Santa Fo
from Englewood Kansas up the Bea
ver valley to Beaver und on west or
southwest and some of these plans may
culminate In a reality ere long. It
looks entirely feasible that such a
rputo should be projt-'pd by the Santa
Fe ppople for. with the building of the
W. F A N. W. railway their line from
Wichita to Englewood Is deprived ef
tho southwest tcirltory and as it
stands now the road gets practically
no business whatever from tho vast

dollars heretofore. "

Unless some unusual circumstance
nreventa. Beaver county Is going to
harvest ono of the blcgest wheat and
othor grain crops in 1011 that It has
ever produced and fully nine-tenths of
it will como from south of the river.
This will moan business and plenty of
it. for the railroad that moves the
crops and of course if thoro ia a road
south of the river that will bo tho line
that will handlo the business

just how it waa done all right.
