week here with relatives following
the death of Mrs. Willoughby's

from Anadarko where she had spent &
few weeks with her sister Mrs. Dyke
Balllngir on her return from South
Texas.
T. S Griffy and son Marlon returned
last week from Indiana where they had
been for two months for tho benefit
of Mr. Griffy's health. He is some-
what Improved but jot is far from be-
ing entirely recovered '

was down from Floris Saturday Inter-
esting some of our people In fruit and
forage trees. Mr Grlmwood has sold
a lot of trees to Beaver county farrqers
and all of them we dare say where
given the proper caro and attention

A tornado in the Southern States
Thursday of last week destroyed a
great amount of property and about
thirty lives wTire lost. Tho storm
visited five states Louisiana Texas'
Mississippi Alabama' and Tennessee
and several small towns wore almost

"Accredited Suhools" we (Ind the Bea-
ver High School listed as fully accred-
ited for four years of work. Hi all of
Oklahoma thoro are lest than one hun-
dred accredited high schools so this
fact proves to us that the Beaver school
Is much above the average. Again un-
der the list of Consolidated School
Districts that have met the require
nenta for stnto a'd wo find "Beaver
No 22" listed which means that we
will get our share of tho state money
to be distributed to consolidated dis-
tricts within the noxt sixty days.
Beaver has a school that she should
be proud of one of the best to be found
in Oklahoma (Evory hoy and girl In
