Craig-Pim Wedding.
Among the pleasant events of the
past week was tho marriago of Miss
Nellie Pirn of Madison and S. Marvin
Craig deputy sheriff of our city.
The ceremony took place at tho home
of the brido's parents Mr. and Mrs. P.
P. Pirn and was performed by Rev. II.
Bradford of Ivanhoo. Only the im
mediato relatives were present.
Tho bride was numbered among
Beaver county's efficient corps of
school teachers and was one of the
most proficient of hor profession. She
possessed a faculty for making friends
wherever sho went and no ono know
her but to be attracted by her gentle
winning ways.
The happy groom is also among our
most popular young people. For the
past term he has served as deputy
sheriH under Sheriff Miller and he has
discharged the duties of his office with
courage and ability During his resi-
dence in Beaver and Beaver county ex-
tending over a period of somo five or
six years Mr. Craig has mixed with
our people politically and otherwise
and wherever he has gone ho has made
warm friends all of whom will join th

School Picnic and Program.
The Beavor bchool closed with a nice
program and picnic in the Sand Hills
last week. The intermediate and high
school pupils rendered their program
Thursday and enjoyed a picnic Friday.
The primary room gave their program
Friday. Both entortainmonta were
largely attended by tho patrons and
friends of the school and all heartily
enjoyed the efforts of tho school to en-
tertain them.
