The Republican State Central Com-
mittee held a brief session at Oklaho-
ma City on tho 33d Inst. Recognising
the tincertAlulty of any election btlug
held to rote on the constitution be-
caute of tho fallo ot the constitution
al convention to complete Its work and
because of tho injunctions and other
court 4ues the committee unanimous
ly agreed to postpone indefinitely tho
Tulsa Republican state convention.
Resolutions were pasted wherein It
will bo seen that no further notion in
election nutters will bo taken until all
questions of legality ato fully settled.
Following are the resolutions!
"Wo endorse tho position taken by
the governor that before he can legal-
ly call an election to pass tipoii the
adoption or rejection of tho proposed
conitltutlon the conttltutlon must lie
tlrst tiled with tho secretary of Okla-
homa. "In rlcw of tho fact that no consti-
tution has yet been Died with the sec-
retary ot the territory and in view of
tho further fact that the election has
not been called and further that the
governor of the territory and the otli-
eers ot tno constitutional convention
have been enjoined from calling said
election by the United titalis court it
is tho opinion ot this commit. co that
no Republican conventions stato con
itrcssional judicial or county or pre
cinct caucuses for tha selection of del
egates should be held by the republi-
can trty until after the cell k kgatly
