Photograph taken for a newspaper owned by the Oklahoma Publishing Company. Caption: "Death stalked the highways near Oklahoma City early Friday when a car, driven by Elmer G. Daglish, 48, Stigler roofer, missed a curve five miles east of Jones. At left the Daglish car after it left the road and crashed into a ditch. Trooper Sid Berry said Daglish died instantly apparently from internal injuries and crushed chest. It was believed the driver had been to Oklahoma City on Business and was returning home."
