Photograph taken for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "End of Chase. Three persons were injured Thursday night when an automobile fleeing from a police cruiser crashed into a Rock Island freight car at tht Walnut street overpass near Grand and Walnut. None was seriously hurt. The Automobile, above was driven by John Henry Fenner, 33, of 2602 NW 10 , who was booked at police headquarters for reckless driving by drinking. H. C. Brisco (in Picture), and L. P. Brown, scout car officers, said the car passed them at the No. 2 fire station, 211 N. Walnut, and was traveling at high speed. The officers pursued the vehicle and witnessed the crash. Fenner suffered facial cuts and bruises. Two passengers in the front seat with Fenner, Jessie Mae Lusk, 24, of 402 S Doffing, and Archie Peoples, 24, of 2730 SW 3, were treated with Fenner at Mercy hospital. All three were released, Fenner was jailed in default of bond."
