H. ROBB,
Noble is rapidly coming to
the front with true Oklahoma
progressiveness, and for the
benefit of those who have not
visited our city for some time,
and who will no doubt be in-
terested in our advancement,
also for tlie benefit of strang-
ers who are contemplating
joining our ranks, and often
ask for the particulars of No-1
bio and vicinity, we will give j
a few points concerning oui'j
city and surrounding country. |
Noble is situated 2o miles)
south of Oklahoma City on the j
A. T. & S. F. R. It., and is on;
the direct line of the Inturur-
ban. already under con-truc-j
tion, which tvill conhect Sul-
phur Springs with Oklahoma
City.
Noble is beautifully located
with a splendid view of the
surrounding coutry for miles
in e;tcb direction: has a per-
fect drainage and is an ideal
location in every respect, en-
joying the distinction of being
the healthiest town on the
Santa Fe for 100 miles south
of Oklahoma City.
Noble li a s an extensive
trade from the Chickasaw na-
tion. which lies just one mile
west, across the Canadian riv-
er, and is thickly settled at
this point, besides being the
principal trading point for
many miles in other direc-
tions, a s the farmers have
learned that our merchants
will do better by them than
some of our sister towns, who
have larger populations.
Ihe Farmers Unions have
their headquarters here, and
by far the greater part of the
cotton raised for miles around
is brought to Noble, where
two finely equipped -tandard
cotton gins are busy day and
night during the cotton sea-
son, ginning the cotton, which
is of splendid quality and com
three churches, all of which j MWIMHI"© «•
are well represented.
There has not been an emp-
ty house in Noble this summer
and quite a number of new res-
idences have been built, which
if not built by the owner for
homes, were rented lon ' be-
fore completion. Several
more are to be built at once.
and property in and around
Noble is steadily increasing in
value, with real estate rapidly
changing hands.

A Grand Success.
The box supper given by the
Band Bo\ s of Noble, in the
Noble school house Saturday
night, was attended by a large
and enthusiastic crowd from
both the city and country.
Boxes sold well, also the
cako and pie contests added
largely to the sum.
Mis- Ola Kennedy received
the cake, by receiving the
highest number of votes us
the most popular lady present.
Mr. Gluts. Dufran worked
the people by looking as hun-
gry as he could. The people
sympathized with linn to such
an extent, that they voted
him the pie for being, as they
supposed, the hungriest man
present.
Mrs. 15. It. McDonald receiv-
ed the parlor lump, whjch was
given to the lady whose bask-
et brought the most money.
The Band Boys extend their
thanks to the many people,
who patronized their supper,
also to the Norman hand boys,
who furnished such excellent
music.
