A BANK SOLD.
On last Saturday a deal was
closed in this city in which
Messrs Bush, Taggart and Slo-
ver bought the Lincoln County
Bank, its business and good will,
j The first two mentioned names
are from Texas and Mr. I Skiver,
j who will be cashier, is well
known here, having acted in the
same capacity here in this bank,
consequently is well known to
all a young man well liked by
everybody. The capital will be
increased to $25,000 and nation
alized at once, and a two
story brick will be erected, the
most beautilul in the city, a
structure that our city will be
proud of, and Mr. Bush will
move here at once and buy or
erect a nice hotr.e and become a
permanent fixture. The bank
expects to do a general line of
banking business and extends a
hearty welcome to all ot the
customers and friends of the
banK and new un.'s likewise

County Bank, found everything In first
class shape. Mr. Kingsbury being a
rery conserTatlve business man. did a

Mr. Kingsbury will settle down to some
business and abide among na, as he has
helped to bnlld the city.
The members of the U. T. D. Club, are
unconsciously forming tte habit of think-
ing each meeting la just a little bet-
ter than the previous one. The meeting
this week was with Mrs. Hampton. The
club will meet Feb. 14, with Mrs Lin
ecbeld.

olh was married at Ed. Kratles in this
city, Tuesday, Judge Woods tlelng the
