Uuitetl States Deputy Marshal ;
William Tilghraan is one of the
.schrewdest man catchers in the \
west. It is seldom if ever a man j
gets away froui him if lit* is after j
him. Marshal Tilghman has
been upon the track of this man |
William Cumberledge for several i
months. He has watched every- |
thing t'lat would indicate the lo- ■

Iowa, when- he was recently
placed under arrest by the city j

Cumberledge is wanted for!

The crime for which he is at
present under arrest and for
which Marshal Tilghman has
worked so hard to catch him, is

the middle of last October.
J. W. Fox was a decrepit, mis-

Spring is a little late in coming this year, but there will be the
regulation amount of warm weather between now and the time
when you will have to buy Christmas gifts. Hammocks for out-
door comfort and refrigerators to keep your milk and butter
and other eatables (dean and cool are necessities in Okla-
homa. They are luxuries, too, if you buy the right kind, such as
we handle. And the best tiling about them is that, they are sold
at prices which bring these luxuries within the reach of all.
Come and see for yourself what they are, and ask the prices
when you are here and can compare the price with the goods.
In our Undertaking Department we carry a complete and
first-class line of Coffins, Caskets, and Undertaking Goods, and
employ a skilled embalmer.

Suspicion at once centered up-
on Wm. Cumberledge, who on a
former time had robbed him and
the old man told who did it. This
enraged Cumberledge and he
said the next time he robbed him
that he would never live lo 1 e 11
any tales. There is also another
reason for suspection. A neighbor
had paid Fox a large sum of
money a few days before the kill-

someway. He was carefully
watched and was seen to have
