'""McAlester indicates how our fel-
low citizen, H. L. Muldrow, is
always getting in his work for
Norman and never overlooks a
bet when it conies to bringing
things to the University City:
McAlester, Okla., Oct. 15.—
Masons holding the annual fall
reunion here voted unani-
mously to' build a $100,000
dormitory at Norman for the
use of bovs and girls of Ma-
sonic families attending the
State University. As soon as
formal details can be attend-
ed to, the drawing of plans
will be started.
The proposal was made by
Hal Muldrow, a member of the
board of control of the uni-
versity. lie said such a build-
ing would greatly relieve
crowded conditions in student
quarters at Norman. The dor-
mitory will provide for 100 to
125.
There will he tio delay, either, in
the erection of this building. When
the Masons undertake anything,
they push it to completion right
now, and it is certain the new dor-
mitory will be ready for occupancy
by the beginning of the school
year in 1920 at latest.
There is going to be a great deal
Of building in the University City
the coming year. In addition to
this dormitory, it is certain the
M. E. Church, South, dormitory
will be built, tile Women's build-
ing at the University, the new
Baptist church, the new M. E.
Church, South, and additional
buildings at the Oklahoma State
Hospital, in addition to a very,
large number of residences and
some business blocks. The out-
look for the coming year for Nor-
man in the building line, and in ev-
ery other line, is most promising.

en columns to the page. We do
not know how long this will be
necessary, and assure our sub-
scribers it will not be longer than
we can see our way clear to get
back to the former eight-page size.
We are now arranging to put in a
large new modern newspaper
press, which will be installed be-
fore many weeks, and will then be
able, we trust, to overcome a num-
ber of difficulties that now beset
tis.
In the meantime, we will endeav-
or by setting the matter in smaller
type, to get just as much news In-
tlie smaller size paper as we did iiv
the larger. .''f
